Outside of music, he’s influenced art and design, sports, movies, and now – in a collaboration ripe for the making – on a luxury timepiece with Swiss watchmaker HUBLOT. Designed by its namesake himself, the Shawn Carter by HUBLOT Classic Fusion features the SC logo cut into the dial, front and center, not only revealing some of the precise inner workings of the movement, but adding a bit of edge to the smooth face. Measuring 45mm in diameter, the piece encapsulates HUBLOT’s 2.90mm HUB 1300 hand-wound movement, arriving in two different make-ups: a black ceramic and a yellow gold, both with a black leather strap and a strict limit of 250 pieces and 100 each, respectively. The watch is set to launch exclusively at Barney’s along with the rest of the A New York Holiday Collection beginning November 30th. Looks like it’s going to be a very special holiday for 350 lucky people.
